NAPA VALLEY COLLEGE'S
YOUTH ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROGRAM
The Youth Entrepreneurship Program (YEP) is made possible by the California Community College Chancellor's Office, as well as by the Napa Valley College. YEP was created in response to the demand for educating the next generation of entrepreneurs. The program is designed for high school and college students (ages 14 to 27) who want to explore the world of business. Students receive practical, hands-on training from business advisors and local business leaders.
YOUTH ENTREPRENEUR BUSINESS PLAN COMPETITION. Each year, Napa College small business advisors, business professors, and local high school instructors work with over 200 students on the development of comprehensive business plans. The top plans are entered into a single, amazing competition better known as the Youth Entrepreneur Business Plan Competition!
YOUTH ENTREPRENEUR BOOT CAMPS. Every summer, YEP offers life-changing Boot Camps which feature exciting instruction designed to inspire each Boot Camper to establish a clear focus and direction for a new career. These camps are not to be missed!
SOMETHING FROM NOTHING. On May 19 2012, the Youth Entrepreneurship Program will host its first annual "Something from Nothing" Competition. This competition will be an amazing opportunity for youths to work their skills designing green products out of recycled materials.
