ABOUT US
The Business & Entrepreneurship Center (BEC) at Napa Valley College is part of a network of Community College professionals working in strategic partnerships with businesses, industry, and community organizations to identify and meet California’s economic development needs in the areas of business improvements and entrepreneurship training. Specific attention is given to providing small business assistance and encouraging youth entrepreneurship.
The BEC supports local economic development corporations, chambers of commerce, community-based business outreach centers, and other community-based organizations whose primary mission is to assist small businesses.
MISSION- Strengthen – the entrepreneurial spirit in California by encouraging young people to engage in entrepreneurship as a legitimate lifetime career path.
- Assist – with regional and statewide efforts to increase the success of business through partnerships and collaborations with industry, education and government.
- Expand – entrepreneurship curriculum across community college campuses.
